COMPANY HISTORY
Our Story
In the mid 1990’s Art Lynds had the opportunity to add rubbish removal services to his existing property maintenance service. 1997 saw the creation of A.B.L.E. Waste Management, Inc. to focus on the growing need for waste removal in Plymouth, VT and the surrounding towns.
As the needs of those communities have grown, A.B.L.E. has expanded into services for dumpster deliveries and Fast Trash, a recycling and rubbish drop-off program.
2020 and beyond sees A.B.L.E. concentrating on Vermont Statewide Roll-Off dumpster deliveries and Fast-Trash drop-off programs in Bridgewater and Hartland, VT.
2022 brought Ben Lynds to A.B.L.E. Waste to learn the ropes of running the business. Ben has since become a co-Owner of A.B.L.E. and plans on purchasing the family business from Art to keep A.B.L.E. up and flourishing, bringing a new outlook and desire for growth.
2025 A.B.L.E. sold our Plymouth, VT curbside trash & recycling route to North Star Rubbish Removal, LLC. so we can focus on expanding our Roll-Off dumpster portion of the business, bettering our communication with our customers and to allow new career opportunities to our local area in the near future.
We are always open to constructive feedback regarding our business, and we are willing to explore new and exciting ways to benefit our customers and the state of Vermont in any way that we can.

Art
Founder & Co-Owner
Art is the founder and co-owner of A.B.L.E. Waste Management, Inc. Built in 1997, Art is actively working to transfer the business ownership to his cousin, Ben. Art is a heavily reliable resource if we need any extra hands. We are hoping to let Art enjoy retirement in the coming years, but we are soaking up the time that we have to spend with him with A.B.L.E. in the meantime!
Ben
Co-Owner & Operator
Starting work with A.B.L.E. in 2022 as a driver and learning the ropes of the business. In 2024, Ben became a co-owner of A.B.L.E. Waste Management, Inc. and in the coming years, Ben will become the sole-owner of A.B.L.E. Waste. You see him on the road servicing dumpsters in our new Red & Black Kenworth W900L, hauling 20-yards, 30-yards, and our demo job 45-yard dumpsters, as well as running two of our FastTrash Programs.
Bobbi-Jean
FastTrash Attendant
Bobbi-Jean has been a pillar of our team here at A.B.L.E. Waste since the creation of the company in 1997. With over 28 years of dedication, Bobbi-Jean runs our FastTrash program in Bridgewater on Saturdays. She is a bright ray of sunshine, who always puts a smile on our customers faces. She puts the "fun" in being a fundamental addition to our company with all of her cheer!
Levi
Driver & FastTrash Attendant
Levi joined our team in 2021 to be a driver and to help run our 2 Bridgewater FastTrash Programs. Levi is a well-rounded, go-getter who is always willing to step out of his comfort zone to help with some rough jobs. This dedication and determination have made him a strong foundational addition to the A.B.L.E. Waste business. You see him out driving our long-body F-600, hauling 8-yard and 20-yard dumpsters.
Hayley
FastTrash Attendant
Working with us since 2019, Hayley has been a wonderful addition to our FastTrash crew, and has worked at both Saturday locations, but is now a cornerstone to our Hartland location.
Nolan
FastTrash Attendant
Nolan joined our team in 2023 to help fill in for our other crew members when unavailable. He has since become another essential teammate at our Hartland Program each weekend.
Evan
Driver & FastTrash Attendant
Evan joined our team in 2025 to learn the tools of the trade as a truck driver. He has since expanded his role with us to also include being a FastTrash Attendant at our Saturday Bridgewater program. Evan is always working to improve his technique, and growth as a truck driver, and has become a pivotal addition to the company. He has obtained his CDL with us and is now the driver of our White Kenworth T380, hauling 20 and 30-yard dumpsters!
Cassie
Driver
Cassie joined our team in June of 2026 to be a driver of one of our F600's. She is servicing our 8-yard dumpsters. Cassie has brought a new outlook within our driving realm, and we are so excited to be working with her!
Gabby
Office Manager & more
Gabby joined our team in 2022 to help offset some tasks in the office as well as becoming an additional Customer Service Rep., and has since filled numerous roles. As of late 2024, she has become our Senior Office Manager, our back-up Customer Service Rep., Payroll Manager, Bookkeeper, Website Manager, Marketing, Advertising & Social Media Coordinator, Human Resources, Custodial Services and much more. She is always open to constructive criticism on how we can do better as a business, and welcomes any feedback you may have.
Megan
Customer Service Rep.
Megan joined the ABLE Waste team at the end of April 2026. She is our new Customer Service Representative, and will be supporting our customer's dumpster needs. Megan is adept in customer service and is also familiar with ABLE Waste. We are overjoyed to experience Megan's expertise with customer service, and excited to see where this position takes her within our company.
